Boasting an impressive record at the back, Coach Moore’s team has only allowed one goal in an outstanding 620 minutes over the last 6 games.

The Lady Eagles’ soccer team has drawn their last four match ups, all against conference opposition.

The only goal scored against the team came in the match against East Stroudsburg, which was canceled out 10 minutes later by freshman, Katie Eichman to earn a point at home.

Dana Wozniak, junior goalkeeper from Blackstone Massachusetts, has shut out her opponents in four of her last five starts.

Wozniak’s clean sheet count comes to five on the year, the most recent away at Millersville, and she moves into 8th among the Lock Haven singleseason shut out record list.

Morgan Rodgers, another junior, has been a staple in the Lock Haven back line this season as well, featuring in nearly every game; though a defender by nature she has also found herself on the scores sheet twice.

Coach Moore will be comforted to know that the average class eligibility of his back line is still sophomores, featuring no seniors, which is a promising notion for next season.

Usually lining up beside Rodgers in the back for the Haven is the sophomore trio that consists of Harley Rolph, Taylor Ludlam, and Danielle Mauro who are all responsible for the success of the squad’s defensive stronghold.

While Ludlam and Rodgers hold them steady at center back, the two New Jersey natives, Rolph and Mauro, are left to deal with the league’s trickiest wingers playing right and left full back respectively.

To close out the season, the women’s team who currently sits in 10th in the PSAC league table, has five  consecutive conference matches to stake a claim for a playoff berth.

They look to uphold and continue their strong defensive record against the league leaders and perhaps toughest challenge yet, West Chester, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 following the men’s match at noon.

The visitors have only failed to score once this season and remain undefeated in all competitions coming into the clash against Lock Haven.
