Texas Chainsaw Massacre is about five friends who, while visiting an old homestead, are hunted down and terrorized by a chainsaw wielding killer and his family of grave-robbing cannibals.
Even though a remake was done in 2003, my favorite take will always be the 1974 movie. This is because it’s the version that I grew up with and screamed in terror at as a child. At that time, I hated horror movies and this was one of the first one I had ever seen of the genre. It may not have the special effects that the 2003 edition has, but the actors make you feel that you are experiencing their pain.
If you enjoy classic horror movies that make you squirm in your seat, then I would definitely recommend you see this movie.
