Phi Sigma Pi’s Alpha Omicron initiating class hosted a Vera Bradley Bingo on Saturday, November 10, in East Campus. Initiates held the event in honor of Cara Day, who passed away this summer. She graduated from Central Mountain High School. The benefits of the bingo went to the Day family. They raised over $2000. Local businesses donated funds and prizes to the event. Players could win a Kindle, 50/50 raffle or any of the Vera Bradley prizes featured. Over 100 people attended the bingo.

Brothers of Phi Sigma Pi and the community came out to support the bingo and played as well. Sam Hippler, a senior math major and brother of Phi Sigma Pi, said “it was an extraordinary event in memory of an extraordinary lady. It was a great success and I could not be prouder of the five people [the initiating class] who organized this event.”
