Panelists share perspectives on international women’s issues

This past Monday night, a group of five female panelists answered questions and discussed issues pertaining to women and their treatment worldwide. The women represented the nations of India, Nigeria, Australia, China and the United States, and shared their experiences as international women.

The conversation topics ranged from women in the workplace, women in sports, and the ways a patriatchial structure is perpetuated over generations.

Amanda Cole, president of Gender Equality and Liberation (GEL) was the moderator, Lindsey Shaffer organized the event, and GEL and Phi Beta Delta co-sponsored it.
