After splitting a doubleheader with Shippensburg on the road Saturday, the Lock Haven softball team came back with full force Sunday afternoon, sweeping Georgian Court 3-1 and 5-4.

In game two, N. Smith smacked yet another home run to centerfield, putting Lock Haven on the board 2-0 in the bottom of the first.
LHU was up 4-0 after six but Georgian Court rallied back and added four runs of their own in the top of the seventh, tying the game.
After ten innings, Alicia Cacciotti (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) drove in the winning run after a hard hit up the middle, scoring the third base runner.
Pitcher Brianna Jennings (Wyalusing, Pa./Wyalusing) took both wins on the day and was named pitcher of the week for the third time this season due to her impressive 18-1 record this year.
Along with Jennings, N. Smith was also honored as player of the week after going 4-for-5 at the plate with 5 RBIs against Georgian Court.
