The student art show was Wednesday, April 2 in Sloan Fine Arts Center. The hall was filled with students viewing the artwork of their peers. The artwork ranged from photographs to paintings and leather work. Marrisa Henry, a freshman majoring in biochemistry, took best in show with her photograph of Justin Martinez.

The artwork was broken up in to categories. The categories were photography, 3D artwork, and 2D artwork. The first place award in photography went to Mike Alvarez, a senior majoring in graphic design. First place in 3D artwork went to Erin Dean, a senior majoring in early childhood education and first place in 2D artwork went to Jess Cherry. The artwork will be in Sloan Fine Arts building until April 25.
