Spook Haven– This haunted Halloween attraction is located in Mill Hall. The opening night is this Friday at 7:00 p.m. Tickets stop being sold at 10:00 p.m. Tickets range from 12 to 17 dollars. This attraction is going on every weekend  through the rest of the month.


Haner Farms– Picking your own pumpkins is always a fun fall activity. There are not any pumpkin patches closer than State College. This farm is located at 2191 W. Whitehall Rd. In addition to the pumpkin picking, they have corn mazes as well. It is open Monday through  Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is also open Sunday at 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Knoebels- Elysburg’s amusement park has several rides available for patrons to go on, including a ride on the Phoenix in the dark and a haunted Antique Cars. The park is only open on Friday and Saturdays though, but it is a fun night trip if you’re willing to drive approximately an hour.


Ross Library – Hosts haunted tours through the month of October, which give students a chance to explore Lock Haven’s spooky history. Contact Lou Bernard if you want more details
