Redshirt-senior, Jessica Pandolf netted a hat trick in both wins for the No. 2 Lock Haven University women’s lacrosse team and was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Week.
In LHU’s 19-5 blowout of Edinboro, Pandolf had three goals, two assists, four ground balls, two caused turnovers and four draw controls.
When the Lady Eagles traveled to play the No. 18 Seton Hill Griffins, Pandolf was instrumental in the comeback victory. She again registered three goals, went 2-3 on draw positions and recorded two draw controls.
This was the first Player of the Week award for a Lady Eagle this season.
The game against Seton Hill was the beginning of the toughest stretch of the season for LHU. The ladies have played, or will play No. 18 Seton Hill, No. 19 Bloomsburg, No. 18 West Chester, No. 3 Lindenwood and No. 8 Mercyhurst, consecutively.
In their contest at No. 19 Bloomsburg on April Fool’s, Pandolf tied her season-high of four goals on five shots, all of which were on goal. The New York native also had a game-high seven draw controls.
Head coach, Kristen Selvage and her team will return back to Charlotte Smith Field for a two-game homestand on April 4 and April 6. Once those two games have concluded, the Lady Eagles will only have two remaining home games this season.
