This week in Lock Haven

Every week, a lot of different events organized for the benefit of the students happen on campus and around town. They are run by different campus groups, such as Haven Activities Council (HAC), the Resident Hall Association (RHA) or one of the many different clubs on campus!

Here’s what’s happening this week on campus!

Friday, Jan. 29

6pm – 9pm: Art Gallery! The Fine Arts Society and other works from the University art collections and local artists will be on display at the Train Station Gallery in Lock Haven from Jan. 29 to Feb. 20.

The Station Gallery is located at 2 E. Bald Eagle Street.

7pm: HAC Comedy Night! Come out for some laughs and see Langston Kerman and Jenny Zigrino on stage at the Price Auditorium!

Langston Kerman is a stand up comedian and actor that has appeared on HBO and the Oxygen Network and has recently been selected as a new face in the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, QC, Canada.

Jenny Zigrino is also a stand up comedian and actress, she has appeared on “Conan O’Brien” and was a finalist in Comedy Central’s “Up Next” and TBS’s “Funniest Wins.” She has also appeared in many other comedies and performs at numerous Comedy Festivals.

Saturday, Jan. 30 

7pm: HAC Big Screen Movie! Come see the newest James Bond thriller, “Spectre” in Price Auditorium!

When Bond receives a cryptic message from his past, he is sent on the tail of a sinister organization. Bond must peel back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE, while M battles political forces to keep the Secret Service alive.

If you have any questions, or for more information on this event, please contact the Student Activities Office. They are located in the upper level of the PUB.
