Complaint of erratic driver on a motorcycle.  Officer made contact with driver and issued traffic citation.

4/1/16 Susquehanna Ave/Hill St

Traffic Stop vehicle with headlights out and taillight partially out.  Driver given verbal warning.

4/1/16 Bentley

Report of lost property. Property found at Tomlinson Center and turned over to owner.

4/1/16 Fairview Suites

Vandalism to building elevator.  Suspect questioned and criminal complaint will be filed upon receipt of cost of damage to elevator.

4/2/16 N Fairview St/W Fourth St

Traffic stop on a vehicle that had a brake light out.  During stop officer detected a profound aroma of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle.  Officer confronted driver.  Driver turned over marijuana pipe and contraband.  Driver found to be on probation and passenger had outstanding warrants.  Individuals transported to Clinton County Correctional Facility on probation violations and outstanding warrants.   Criminal Charges will be filed on both individuals on possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence.

Assist Lock Haven City Police with a fight in progress.  Officer arrived and assisted.

4/2/16 Area 3B

Driver of bus hit a parked vehicle.  Owner’s information exchanged.

Assist Lock Haven City Police with an altercation between two males and a female.

4/3/16 Susquehanna Ave/Hill St

Traffic stop on vehicle with a very dim registration plate light.  Driver found to be under the influence and transported to LHER for testing.  Criminal Complaint will be filed upon receipt of blood work.

4/3/16 Sixth Street

Traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to stop at a posted stop sign.  Citation issued for failure to stop at a posted stop sign.

4/3/16 Susquehanna Ave.

Traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.  Verbal warning issued.

4/3/16 Bellenfonte Ave.

Traffic stop on a expired vehicle registration.  During officer observed an expired inspection.  Traffic citation issued for expired inspection.

4/4/16 Susquehanna Ave.

Traffic stop for license plate light that was partially out.  Driver given verbal warning.

4/4/16 Spring Street

Traffic stop on a vehicle with a non-functional headlight.  Driver issued a warning and must provide proof within 5 days of a functioning headlight.

4/4/16 Bentley

ATM burglary alarm sounding.  Officer responded and ATM was being serviced.

4/4/16 W Fourth St/Spring St

Traffic stop vehicle failed to stop at posted stop sign.   Driver cited for stop sign violation and expired inspection.

4/4/16 Glennon

Officer requested to return to office regarding paperwork for a female.  Officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana and confronted female.  A search of the vehicle was conducted after permission was granted by driver.  Officer found burnt marijuana roaches.  Charges may be filed at a later date.

4/5/16 Off-campus

A witness reported a hit and run that occurred within the City’s jurisdiction.  All information gathered turned over to LHPD.

4/5/16 W Church St/W Fourth St

Traffic stop on a vehicle that neglected to come to a complete stop.    Warned and released.

4/6/16 Area 19 parking lot

Report of a car alarm sounding.  Owner of vehicle notified.

4/6/16 Off-Campus

Assist LHPD with a theft of a motor vehicle.  Vehicle located and officer waited for LHPD and owner of vehicle.  Victim did not want to press charges.

4/6/16 Bentley

Student tried to use another student’s card to purchase food.  Officer confronted this student and explained the policy.

4/6/16 Church St/Fourth St

Traffic stop on a vehicle that neglected to use proper turn signal.  Warned and released.

4/7/16 N/A

LHU received a returned check in the amount of $16.00 for a parking ticket.  Account had non-sufficient funds.  Officer made contact with individual.  Individual came to the office and paid $16.00 plus $25.00 surcharge to satisfy the account.

4/7/16 N Fairview Street

Traffic stop on a vehicle that had a trailer with inoperable brake lights.  Odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle.  Officer asked driver if there was any contraband in vehicle.  Driver turned over marijuana pipe.  Criminal compliant will be filed.
