The HOPE Center is a safe place

The HOPE Center would like to remind everyone that it is a safe and confidential space[SLT1]  for all students in accordance with our mission to support, empower and enlighten all students about issues of sex, gender, sexual violence, personal safety and health, social justice and educational equity.

Our office, located in Ulmer 100, is a place of respect and peace.  In our efforts to advance gender and sexual equality, we take pride in promoting thoughtful dialogue among students of all identities, backgrounds and experiences.

With the end of the semester drawing near, students should feel free to utilize HOPE’s space to conduct research using our extensive collection of books and magazines, or to study on our comfortable couches.

After Thanksgiving break, we will also be open a few mornings leading up to final exams to offer coffee and donuts to students. Look on our Facebook and Instagram pages to find more information about these upcoming dates.

The HOPE Center is open on Mondays from 9a.m. to 3p.m., Tuesdays from 11a.m. to 3p.m., Wednesdays from 10a.m. to 3p.m., and on Thursdays from 11a.m. to 1:30p.m..

Feel free to stop by and utilize our space.  Everyone is welcome!
