Michael Flynn resigned from his National Security Advisor position when the Washington Post discovered that he coordinated sanctions in conjunction with Russian officials.

Brandon Cwalina, Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesperson, has pressured Senator Pat Toomey to demand an investigation in order to find out what President Trump knew and when he knew it.

“Trump and Toomey can try to spin this all they want. The fact of the matter is that Trump’s National Security Adviser had contact with Russian officials to discuss sanctions on Russia,” Cwalina said. “Toomey has a responsibility to the people of Pennsylvania to hold the Trump administration accountable.”
