Special to the Eagle Eye

March 30, 2017

The Eagle Eye continues with our series where we put all of our minds together to come up with a list of our favorite items from various topics.

This week, we are going to talk about our favorite place to eat on campus. If there is a sort of disappointing feeling on your end because of our list, well, we are sorry.

  1. Chick-Fil-A

When I heard that Lock Haven was putting in a Chick-Fil-A, I literally was jumping with joy.  This is the coolest thing within 15 miles of Lock Haven.  I am so happy that I am able to pick up a chicken sandwich within walking distance.  For those who know me, you know chicken is my favorite food.  So, obtaining a Chick-Fil-A on LHU’s campus was a big win for me, personally. –Jayson Moyer

  1.  Stax Deli

I know what I like. Chicken on a wheat wrap with cheese, green peppers, carrots, mushrooms and ranch never fails me. Often I’ll chase it with a black coffee from Starbucks across the building.

  1. C3 Express Cafe

C3 Express Cafe, perhaps better known as the store on the first floor of Robinson, is hands down my favorite place to eat on campus. What a place. The speed is unmatched. The line to wait and pay will be 10 people deep and you’ll still be out of there in 30 seconds or less. Drinks, food and I think coffee (Not quite sure as I don’t drink coffee) can all be had. It is a magical place.

  1. Parsons Union Building concession stand

I know I don’t need that much to keep me going. I just need to something grab-and-go. There is never a line and I can grab a nice cool soda or some of the always delicious snyder’s pretzels. It will always hit the spot and get my mind focused for doing some hard work in the nearby computer lab.

–Derek Danneker

  1. Upper Bentley (breakfast only)

The only good thing about Upper Bentley is their breakfast. You can get a MTO (made-to-order) omelets and make your own waffles. It doesn’t get much better than that in the morning. You can also ask for bacon and you shall receive. If they served breakfast all day you’d be good, but they don’t.

The salad bar is usually good. – John Sosnowski
